Business Description

Café Central opened its doors on November 15th, 2011. Eager to please the local businesses and downtown goers, we pride ourselves in being knowledgeable in the art of coffee making. Situated in the lobby of the First Hawaiian Bank, Café Central is not just your ordinary hole in the wall café. We consider ourselves a specialty coffee café, serving local beverages and food to our customers. Come visit our friendly staff and try something new!

Kona Coffee Purveyors provides the café with our signature house blend, regional coffee, and espresso. We use a variety of brewing methods with our exceptional coffee. Our espresso is brewed using either a La Marcozza Strada, V60 for pour over, French Press, or drip, depending on a customers preference. Try an espresso or coffee brewed different every day!

If coffee is not your first choice, we also serve outstanding teas from Smith Tea’s. We have a great selection of black, green and herbal teas.

Paired perfectly with beverages, our pastries come from a variety of local businesses, including Fendu Boulagerie in Manoa, Cake Works, This Is It Bagels, and Akamai Foods. Come try our made to order acai bowls and yogurt parfaits which include fresh fruit, honey, and granola.
